Udemy launched the course, iosh Self Care, in February, but it has been quietly available since September.

The course offers 10 self-help tips from experts, including Dr. Stephen Siegel, author of The Four Pillars of Wellbeing.

The self-guided video class is also available as a podcast.

It also means I could take the course for free and probably learn even more from it.

This is a big plus because, well, it’s a free course.

There are no ads or in-app purchases.

And I didn’t have to pay anything for this course.

Here are my top 5 tips for success on UdDERy: 1.

Find the right subject to self-guide and complete it.

For example, Iosh provides 10 topics for you to choose from.

I chose my favorite and completed it within a week.

The goal of the course is to make sure you complete it in a manageable amount of time.


Take a break from the course to relax.

I tried to stay away from studying for several days during the course.

I was tired, bored and frustrated.

I spent about 30 minutes a day on the couch reading, or relaxing in a different location.

That gave me plenty of time to reflect and recharge.


Take advantage of the fact that I’m only a college student.

UdDSL has an “advisor” program.

I could have just taken the course as a free online course.

But UdDER, the company behind the course (which is also free) has partnered with Udder.
