Why are people using a ‘futa’ course instead of a medical degree?
A university has revealed that students are using a “futa” course instead at a university, because they don’t know the difference between a medical and a medical education.
The course is being offered by the International Centre for Health and Medical Education, or ICCHE, and is intended to educate students about the difference in the two fields.
However, students who take the course have said it’s more like a medical school.
The courses are being offered at the University of New South Wales, and it’s understood that students have been given no guidance on what the difference is.
The University of Queensland, which is one of the top 10 university rankings, also offers a “medical” course, but this one is offered by a university and doesn’t include a medical component.
It is also a registered course with the Australian Medical Association (AMA).
The AMA said it was aware of the problems with the course, which had been cancelled earlier this year.
It has said it is working with students on a new course that could be available to them.
“AMA has worked with the students who took the current course and has informed them that the current version of the course is no longer available for students who do not wish to continue,” AMA spokesman Paul Wilson said.
“As with any new course, the AMA has a clear policy of not allowing students to enrol in courses they have not taken.”AMA is aware of recent changes to the AMA’s registered course offering, and we will continue to monitor the situation closely.
“Mr Wilson said the AMA had contacted the university and advised it the students had a right to withdraw from the course if they wanted to.
However the AMA said the students could withdraw from it, if they wished.
A spokesperson for the university said: “The current version is no long term and has been withdrawn.”
The current course is available to all students and is fully accredited.”
We have made it clear that if students wish to withdraw or do not want to continue, they have the option of doing so.
“‘It’s like medical school’ Students who took either of the two courses were told they would be taken into the AMA accredited course.
The AMA spokesperson said it had advised students the course was no longer accredited, which meant students could not continue to enrol, but that students were entitled to the full AMA accreditation.
He also said the university had no plans to re-offer the course. “
The AMA is aware that there are concerns with the current registered course offerings at the Queensland University of Technology and it is making enquiries with students to see what is available for them,” AMA spokesperson Paul Wilson told The Australian.
He also said the university had no plans to re-offer the course.
“It is like medical schools, if you don’t have the right people to teach you you don, which can be quite challenging,” he said.
Mr Wilson also said students who did not take the AMA course would be able to continue to take it, but the AMA would have to work with the school to find suitable students to take the other course.
