Why I want to become a full-time manager
I’ve been a full time manager for the past 13 years, but I didn’t know it at the time.
It took me nearly six years to get the confidence to finally take my first full-timers course.
I took a leadership and business class, but then a year later, I got a call from a recruiter asking me to join the team as a project manager.
I wasn’t sure I could take the next step, but at the same time, I knew it was a big step.
I was confident and I felt like I could get the job done.
The path to becoming a full, full-timer manager is a long one.
You have to develop your skills and you need to have the confidence that you can do it.
In this episode, I talk with one of my mentors about his journey and how to take the first step toward becoming a successful manager.
You can follow him on Twitter, Google+, or Facebook.
I hope you found this episode useful.
